WRECK DIVING SPECIALTY
Explore History Beneath the Surface

Sunken ships tell incredible stories. From historic freighters and military vessels to purpose-sunk artificial reefs teeming with marine life, wrecks offer some of the most exciting and rewarding dives in the world.

The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty teaches you the knowledge and skills needed to safely explore wrecks while expanding your confidence and experience as a diver.

Whether you're fascinated by maritime history, underwater photography, or simply looking for your next adventure, this course opens the door to a whole new world of exploration.

Every wreck has a story waiting to be discovered. Massive propellers, cargo holds, engine rooms, and coral-covered structures become thriving artificial reefs filled with colorful fish, turtles, rays, and countless other marine creatures.

With proper training and guidance, you'll learn how to safely explore these underwater time capsules while protecting both yourself and these remarkable historical sites.

Whether you're diving a century-old shipwreck in the Great Lakes, a World War II wreck in the Pacific, or a sunken artificial reef in the Caribbean, the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty will give you the confidence and skills to make every wreck dive an unforgettable adventure.
