Prerequisites

  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another recognized training organization)

  • Minimum age: 10 years

Course Goals & Schedule

Typically completed over one to two days, including academics and three open water training dives.

  • Return precisely to your starting point

  • Follow compass headings with confidence

  • Identify natural navigation clues such as reef formations, sand ripples, sunlight, and depth changes

  • Perform expanding square and U-pattern searches

  • Lead dives while maintaining excellent orientation
